"La Cisterna" Farm Cooperative
The Cooperative constitutes one of the three business sectors of the company, and is a crucial element in the Saipa supply chain. In fact it plays a key role in identifying traceability and attaining quality, as the last link in the production chain.
It carries out its own butchering of the animals that come from the Group's farms; the pork is supplied to the Saipa cured meat factory for making products typical of the Marche region (Ciauscolo I.G.P, Fabriano Salami, Ascolano Salami and hams), whilst the beef and various types of poultry (chickens, organic chickens, cockerels and organic turkeys) are sold directly in its own sales points and shops.
